The laser that we employ is extremely versatile and is capable of engraving on almost any material and we laser mark most metals. Some materials engrave better than others and our Design Artists can steer you in the right direction.

Manufacturing uses of the laser

The capabilities of our laser are perfect for those jobs requiring precision.  We are capable of engraving and cutting to exact tolerances (< .001 inch) with extreme accuracy.  At LDT, we have experience dealing with manufacturing companies and have several Design Artists with engineering degrees that can assist you in meeting your company's specific needs.

 

We are seeing growth in the manufacturing area of our business and have been expanding our Laser Services department.  We are currently employing the precision of the laser for many industrial uses and have a growing client base in this area.  Our backgrounds and experience in engineering allows us to quickly pinpoint the industrial/manufacturing needs of our growing customer base.

We have found great results with engraving anodized aluminums and have found it to be a superior product for outdoor uses.

Another rapidly growing area in our business has been in industrial and manufacturing labeling.  We have a lot of experience with    this process and can suggest a variety of materials to best meet your custom labeling needs.

Laser charges - custom jobs

$50  -  The basic set-up fee for any project

$60 / hr  ($1 / minute)  -  Approximate charge for laser run time on products requiring longer burn times.  Minimum charges apply.

Note:  Prices on custom jobs vary greatly depending on many factors such as the complexity of artwork, the object to be engraved, and the amount of time needed to complete the job.  For an estimate on your particular job, please contact us so that we may better serve you.
